R+L Carriers is committed to the safe operation of our truckline, and the safety of others with whom we have contact. We back this commitment by educating all associates and promoting communication system-wide.
Implementation of safety programs, a Quality
Program, emergency response procedures, a systematic fleet
preventative maintenance program, equipment and tire replacement
policies, a formal driver training program, and stringent hiring
practices for drivers, are but a few internal measures taken
toward safety.
Security
R+L Carriers maintains a security force of nearly 100 officers dedicated to the protection of your shipments. Programs designed in pursuit of this goal include our TECH 2000 Program, combining security resources and customer service personnel to insure that a freight loss, should one occur, be swiftly addressed. Additionally, the D.A.R.T. Program - an education training program in security procedures - was implemented in 1996.
